In John 3:3  Jesus tells a man named Nicodemus... "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

To be saved is to be "Born Again." 

Why must a person be "Born Again?"

Because of man's sin so many years ago in the Garden of Eden, mankind is now in judgment of God. Each and every man or woman born into this world are now born in sin.
Romans 5:12 - Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

Romans 3:10 - as it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Because of this there is now a penalty...

Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

But, notice the end of that verse... There is a gift!!! 
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 5:8 - But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

How do we accept this free gift?

Romans 10:9 - That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Romans 10:10 - For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and witht he mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Who can be saved?

Romans 10:13 - For whoesever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Why does it matter?

John 3:17-18 -  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

What have you decided today my friend?

Jesus wants to be your Savior and has paid the price on Calvary where he died on an old rugged cross for all of our sins. Please accept him as your Savior today!

If you recognize that you are a sinner and that because of your sin when life on this earth is over you will be in hell?

If you believe that Jesus paid the price for you?

Tell him and ask him to come into your heart and save your soul!
